just thought that it would be a good idea to tell everyone before I get repremended again. Well, here is the explanation:

Okay, before you hit the switch that turns the castle upside down, have Cream be the leader. Hit the switch and let the castle flip. Once it has, fly to the curtain that blocks you from the extra part of the stage that you can't go to. It doesn't work. ^.^ On the rail is 5 more rings, but that's it.

there's more than 29 to be had

I know rose and chaotix has the same layout of levels as sonic/dark (mostly sonic) so there are way more than 266.  These are the ones I found with Chaotix when I was SAing with them and I fell off a tower.

When you go to the loop when your upside down and you grind it, at the end you head to the tower.  On that tower, go to the opposite side from where you are and fall off.  Stay close to the tower if you want as its safer.  There should be rings down there and extra enemies.  For Chaotix the rings were already there because normally you'd have to hit a switch to make them appear.

I found only 26 after including the other area.  16 were found before.

Okay, the entire search has ended.  293 is max.  I see no way to pass the goal ring, so the level is done.  I'm sick of playing it.

I dont think so because there's still a lot of stages and crap to solve...like those damn trick rings.
